Terex Cranes:Crane innovations that are ready to go

At Bauma 2007, Terex Cranes is presenting a total of thirteen cranes at the joint Terex booth. The exhibit will feature new products and highlights in the fields of telescopic cranes, tower cranes, crawler cranes and container stackers.

This also includes the new Demag AC 100/4, Bendini RC 60 and PPM TC 40 L cranes.

Terex Demag

Terex will show the new Demag AC 100/4 – this crane highlight is setting the standard in its class: It is the strongest 100 t crane on four axles – when employing maximum counterweight. It breaks the record for the highest lifting capacity with a fully telescoped main boom and main boom extension. It is the first and only crane in its class with a vehicle width of only 2.55 m, even with large tires. And it is the only 100 t crane with the dimensions of a 70 t four-axle crane.

Terex Bendini

Terex is exhibiting the new rough terrain crane Bendini RC60 with a lifting capacity of 60 t for anyone who does not want to be held up on difficult terrains. Its greatest feature is the newly developed boom with five telescopic segments and a total length of 40 meters. The Cummins engine delivers excellent performance - 164 kW at 2200 rpm. Thanks to the DANA transmission with six forward and six reverse gears, the crane can tackle even the most challenging terrain conditions.

Terex PPM

The new PPM TC 40 L is being delivered from France to Munich. This three-axle truck crane is distinguished by its simple handling and an optimal combination of performance with low operating costs – during its application as much as on the street. At its core lies a MAN engine with 240 kW, which makes it possible to reach a top speed of 90 km/h. An additional advantage: MAN is represented by numerous service stations worldwide - that means that this crane comes equipped with the best servicing conditions. The crane can be used with great flexibility on the most diverse construction sites due to its 37.5 m long basic boom plus jib with a maximum tip height of 47 meters.

Terex Changjiang

With the four-axle crane LT 1050, the youngest member of the Terex Cranes Group, Terex Changjiang, is presenting a high-performance truck crane that is among the best-selling cranes in China. The five segment boom reaches a height of 41 m and the lifting capacity amounts to 60 t. A great advantage: the small turning radius of only 12 meters.
